No idea why they are so rare here, although I had no trouble finding them for my '13 Cabrio.
I find that the OEM nylon mats are really cheap and always show dirt, while rubber mats are you know, rubber.
The Rep mats are a hybrid that is water-resistant and don't show dirt and are very easy to clean.

I've ordered a 2020 E450 Wagon with the Macchiato Beige / Yacht Blue Nappa leather. Unlike the Cabriolet with the same leather color combination, the Sedan & Wagon have beige lower doors, carpeting and mats. The beige mats are going to get filthy very quick, I think, so I'd like to find semi-matching blue mats. Won't be the same as the Cabriolet with blue carpeting, but I think it would still look good. I've found these for the Cabriolet: Saint-Tropez Blue Velour Mats, probably the matching color to Yacht Blue, but I'm sure the won't fit the wagon.
Lloyds Mats has some good looking mats that are rated well, but I haven't found a good color with them. OTOH, accmats.com show a huge assortment of colors and styles, but it doesn't look like they make anything that fits a Mercedes E, or many others cars (going to call them on Monday). Anyone else have a good source of good-fitting, good-looking blue floor mats that might match this interior?

I ordered the Lloyd mats for my Audi A6 because it had light beige carpeting. For some reason, their measurements have it slightly less wide than the OEM mats. It bothered me and I returned them. Don’t know why they would have it like that but they did.

They wouldn't, would they? Do you think there's any chance that the Cabriolet front mats would fit the E Sedan/Wagon? I'm sure the rear mats would be smaller, with the less rear legroom in the cabriolet, but they still could work.
Looking for them on the numerous MB part sites drove me crazy, they all showed discontinued for the 2017 model, I never thought to look at 2018. So long as they offer returns, go for it, but watch out for shipping charges, they won't be cheap if you have to pay for return shipping.
