WAZE display issues

My iPhone IOS was recently updated and Apple CarPlay has a new display. While using WAZE, there is no display, if I reboot Comand system, the map shows up with no information. The voice navigation works, but no visuals. The phone shows the route turns but not the map.
has anyone else experienced this, or is it my equipment?

I am no techie but for what it is worth, many times I have to unplug and replug my iPhone in to get Waze to operate. Other times I must reboot my iPhone. Other times Wazes just turns off. Other times it stays on the entire trip.

It is not reliable and I have no reason why!

Waze works fine for me, which, admittedly, is of no help to you...

I just updated to iOS 13 yesterday. Waze works for me, but I've noticed apps in general seem to have some hiccups, both in CarPlay and on the iphone itself. However, when CarPlay is running, Waze seems to be fine, but adjusting to the new UIX will take some time...
