Please Confirm - Actual TPMS or Done Through ABS Sensor?

Hi All,
Picking up my 2019 E300 on Wednesday and couldn't be happier! The last Mercedes I owned was a 2012 C350 and the tire pressure was monitored and reported back to the ECU through the ABS sensors - It was a wonderful system as it worked regardless of which set of wheels I had on (summer or winter). Wondering if my E Class is the same? In Canada if that matters.

Thanks

Pretty sure they're all TPMS now. My 2019 E-class is.

Thanks for the reply. That's a bummer - I felt the system on my C worked very well. Just an additional cost for winter rims now.

FWIW, I think it's more accurate. Plus, on mine, it also show tire temp. That's interesting to watch.

That's a cool extra piece of data for sure! And for sure, I'm certain the actual sensor is a more accurate option but I'd still prefer the indirect version for the wheel flexibility.
