Easy Upgrade to AMG Style Sport Pedals

For those discerning E-Class owners, here's a simple upgrade that's easy to do and adds to the fit & finish of the interior if interested; replacing stock rubber pedals with AMG Style Sport Pedals

Took all of 5-minutes to do and only involves the use of both hands and a ratchet with a small extension together with a 13mm socket for the two shoulder nuts securing the accelerator housing* to the flooring which is plug and play connected to its small wiring harness. As can be seen in the photo, the brake pad is simply a slip over wrap-around rubber mounting while the accelerator body is held in place by 2 x 13mm shoulder nuts and a small wiring connector, i.e. plug & play!

For my 2019' E4504S Wagon, the sports pedal package was as follows;

Part Number: 000-290-05-00 [this is both the brake pedal cover and accelerator housing* assy]
Part Name: Sport Pedals in Stainless Steel
Price: $150.65
Seller: mbpartscenter.com

These components include the complete accelerator housing with its sport pedal which is electronic, and it not just a pedal swap or overlay.

In posting this, I realize there a far cheaper alternatives, ie. eBay (or flea-bay as I tend to refer to it) but being a stickler for detail and considering the money spent on such a vehicle I'm more inclined to seek out OEM accessories.

2019 E450 Wagon
I don’t understand why these don’t come with the AMG styling package. I had my dealer install a set before I picked up my wagon as it’s not a build option (and no they didn’t discount them, but they didn’t charge me for the install). Others here have reported great success and quality with some aftermarket equivalents.

Thanks for posting. They do really look good. As you say, cheapies are available on Amazon and eBay, but none I see include the electronic portion of the gas pedal, which is concerning. And while no 2019 or 2020 models are shown on the "Make sure this part fits your car" list, the fact that you have it on your 2019 wagon means it will probably work on my ordered 2020 E450 Wagon.

BTW, what is the "4S" part of the model number? Just curious. Maybe the Luxury or AMG-Line option? - Oh, I see that mine is an 4S as well. ;-)

Easy, just give your MB part's depo your VIN# and they can confirm correct fitment and yes, the 4S is the sub-code for the 4Matic wagon. Also, given these parts will undergo frequent use, i.e. every time the car is driven, I wanted to ensure both quality and lasting durability in terms of OEM vs. aftermarket.

Good to know, though it's interesting that they can cross-reference 2019 VINs but list not 2019 E-Class in their compatible listing. Anyhow, I agree about the quality, given their constant use.
