Blind spot assist
Hi,
I have just bought the E class E220d SE, it comes with a command online. When buying the car the description did say it has blind spot assist but I am unable to find this feature. Could any one advise? Thank you

Test it out. When driving next to someone in the next lane is there a red light in that mirror? Turn your turn signal on, does it beep to let you know someone is in the next lane?

Thank you for the reply. Yea sure, I'll give it a go. In some of the videos on YouTube it shows that you need to go on settings to set on. No where to be found. Is this a feature for premium package?

You should be able to look at either mirror and see the indicator, whether flashing or not. If it's in the mirror, you have the feature. It should function automatically.
Can't imagine why any Mercedes in 2019 would NOT have this safety feature, which is all but 100% standard in every oriental econobox sold in the US.

Did you buy a new car, or was it used? What year is it?

It would help if you specified your location in your profile.
The Blind Spot system on my 2016 works great, but if you live in Europe or elsewhere, apparently it might be an option.
Regardless, your recourse is with your seller. I doubt your seller will want to retrofit a BS system as it will cost a small fortune, and probably comes as part of a package.
