Heated star in front grille activation?

Heated star in front grille activation?
Not able to find any details on this, but when is the heating in the front grille activated? i drove today in -8 degrees celsius. the side mirrors heated up, the rear window heated, but the ice on the star in the front grille hadn't melted.

your car has the driving assist function with the non physical star? did you try to activate it to see if it would give you an error message?

Yes, I have the distronic pack. The car said braking assist and steering assist not available or something.
