2021 facelift Mercedes E-Class first Review and all-new steering wheel
I like the avantgarde steering wheel better at 8:38 mark. Or should we get the AMG line?

There's a bunch of things I would call bad news:
- The dual screens are now both 10.25 inches instead of the current 12.3 inches (if you have the dual-screen option).
- The center screen real estate taken by Apple CarPlay is now much smaller (around 40% smaller, see attached picture), which is terrible (hope it can be configured somehow). One of my favorite features when using Carplay is the huge satellite overview of the navigation path from google maps
- The starless chrome grill in the luxury version seems to be flattened and widened, making it look like a design afterthought (but it may look better when unwrapped).
- The AMG-line steering wheel looks atrocious, but they claim it can be interchanged with up to 5 different designs. Hope MBUSA provides that flexibility.
On a positive note, the AMG-line power bumps in the hood for the sedan are a nice touch. I love having them in my coupé.
It kind of sucks not having MBUX in the current car, but design-wise I'm kind of happy I bought my car when I did...
Let's hope Geneva 2020 shows something better than this seems.

There are no seats like S class seats. Though I thought W212 E63 seats were pretty good.

I prefer the "solid" steering wheel. Reserve the right to change my mind after seeing it live, but I wonder if they did any market testing. Perhaps HQ doesn't care what MBUSA thinks.
The vertical bars in the lower front bumper are horrible. Hopefully part of the attempt to camouflage the changes.
