Reliability question - 2019 e220d
Hello. I am looking to by a 2019 e220d from the uk as an import. First of all is it normal for a car to be sold at so little milage such as 15k miles? Autotrader is full with low milage 2019 at cheap prices. Also is the 2019 e220d a solid and reliable car? My w211 has been rock solid. I would appreciate any tips regarding a used E class.
Thanks!
Thanks!

15k miles sounds ok, a lot of people bought those cars on 1 year or 2 year leasing. Or they just sold it because they can’t hold the credit anymore.
You should just check if it’s services are all done by Mercedes, to make sure that bobs have adjusted the mileages. Also make sure you get the 2 year’s original Mercedes car guarantee, then you can easily go with it.

In the US it’s called Certified Pre Owned - CPO. It gives you 1 year to 2 years warranty.
I don’t think you can use it on international level, because it’s conditions and terms are handled differently in every country.
In Germany you can Get almost everything done by the warranty, because the common laws on verhicels are very strong here.

W213 Night Edition 220d. (ML250 SLK350AMG)
Which country are you importing the E Class to?
The W213 previewed as the E220d with the newest engine generation from the start, where a lot of others were carry over engines from the previous generation. The facelift will change this.
I would say 15,000 miles which is ~25,000 km for a one year old car is a lot of km. It is not uncommon for a car to be sold with that amount of km. I have changed a car over after a year, not because it was a bad car, it's just a different one came out i liked and i changed, which had nothing to do with a lease (for those that lease cars).
The 220d engine is a reliable engine. I have just done 40,000 km my W213 e220d.
A few people have had quality issues with rattles etc, but in terms of engine, mine has been good and i've had no electronic issues or sensor issues or the like.
