50k engine air filter change - anyone actually wait that long ?

2019 GLC300, 2017 E300
50k engine air filter change - anyone actually wait that long ?

I bought by car certified a few months ago. Opened up the air box and the air filter was pretty filthy @23k , with many bugs nestled in the sides of the filter. I’m surprised the manual calls for this @50k.

2018 S560 and 2019 E450 Wagon.
Ya, best off changing them like every 30 K miles, simple enough to do and easy part to get at Auto parts stores. 50K miles is kinda to long a interval agree.

$14 on amazon for an OEM filter (same brand and PN w/o the MB stamping)

my e300 was a MANN filter

your E450 should be MAHLE
