S213 E400 Wagon

Hello all,

I will be looking at an 2017 E400 wagon and wanted to reach out for points to look out for/to check on.

Thank you for any tips!

2023 GLE450, 2021 E350 / Used to drive: 2019 E300, 2021 + 2020 GLE350, 2019 E450 Wagon(s), 2017 E300
Rare issue, I think, but clunk in rear suspension over speed bumps and things like that. Really great car - you will love it if it is nice condition and has the options you want.

2018 E400S
You probably know this, but pay a lot of attention to options on the car. There's a huge difference between a base version versus a wagon with full air suspension, LED headlights, heated/ventilated seats and steering wheel, and packages that include 360 degree cameras when parking, and adaptive cruise control etc. Also, on interior watch for 'piano black' fancy name for black plastic center console. Good news is that these options depreciate much faster than base car, so if you are lucky you might get a bargain. I'm driving a 'loaded' 2018 E400S which I love, and intend to keep for at least 6 years. Sedan handling with enough cargo capacity to satisfy any vacation needs, and most hardware store trips. Its a fantastic, and rather rare vehicle.
