New maps update available

My 2020 has downloaded new maps a couple times since I got it in January. At least a message says it has updated them. Wonder if the maps online are different?

The voice files are not downloaded over the air. Plus, only your region is downloaded over the air, so if you want a wider area to be current (like for a road trip) you have to do an online update. I always do all regions while I'm at it.

2019 C63CS
The portal tells you what's installed on the car and if the ones online are newer. It seems MB ships the cars with somewhat outdated maps from the factory. When I got my 2019 C63CS, I got two map updates in a row shortly after my Mercedes Me services were activated. Those were all map updates that came out earlier. What MB installed on my car was 2 versions behind. I actually did ED, so my US maps were installed at the VPC, but still they installed an old version.
