Moving on, to a....
I very much enjoyed living with this car with any gripes I had very minor in relation to an overall positive experience.
My work is very much centred around making highly specialised materials that are widely used in green energy (wind turbines, fuel cells etc.), so I felt I had to move away from diesel.
So, I now find myself driving a Jaguar iPace. It is completely different of course but is, so far, very enjoyable (and incredibly fast!)
I'm curious to see how Mercedes electric vehicle offering plays out - they do look promising, I just couldn't wait.
Of course, I still have my own SL350 in the garage so I will not be leaving this forum altogether.
Happy driving guys!

Range is a major factor for an electric car and is therefore pretty high on the list of priorities.
From a personal point of view, in the UK at least, there is something a little bit special about driving a Jaguar, so I thought I’d give it a go.
However, I must say that the EQC looks nice.

The dealer clearly didn’t trouble to find the fault the first time, so I was furious when it happened again a few days after they gave it back to me. We don’t have the Lemon Law here, but the lease company took the car back. I only had it for a few weeks in total.
Sometimes cars let us down, but I was more concerned about the dealer giving a dangerous car back to me. That is why I kept faith with Mercedes and got the E Class Coupe (and switched dealer).

People often talk about the reliability of Jaguar, but honestly i see so many old Jags still on the road here in Melb Australia.
I am also looking forward to the upcoming EQE
Good to read about your SL.
