Currently: 2014 W212 E350 Wagon, 2019 F150 Platinum, 2006 Saab 9-3 ‘vert

W212 vs W213 seats

Hey all! I recently bought a W212 E350, and am experiencing the dreaded right thigh pain that a number of W212 owners seem to report. (Heated/ventilated active seats)

I’m wondering if any of you had that issue in your W212 then moved to a W213. If so, is it better?

I'm driving w213 and before was driving w212 and situation is the same or maybe worse with w213 seats.

Thanks, I sat in a W213 briefly, and noticed that it felt a bit cramped in the shoulder (B-pillar felt closer in)

I’m going to keep the W212, and work on improving the seats (some folks have some tricks that they’ve reported good results with). Love the lines so much, best looking wagon since the W123...

I had a W212 and really liked the seats. However, the W213, in my opinion, has significantly improved seats. The W212's never felt like they completely surrounded as well. The W213's just feel better. There's a lot of things I really loved about the W212, but on the W213 they definitely improved the seats among several other things.
