I believe this is an additional option if you want the pressure level to show.
"runflat indicator" will only be activated when there is a lose of pressure and will not show how much pressure is left. This is a standard option called "Tyre pressure sensor"
While the additional option is called "Tyre pressure monitoring sensor"

Are you checking it cold or have you driven it a bit first? I was always under the impression you needed to drive on them to get a reading,

So this means my car will not indicate if it has low pressure 👀

.
IIRC option 475 is required to get tire pressure readings. Check the data card for your VIN.

asking the same question, can I install continuous tire pressure reading?
Why I am concern about it, because I am planning to replace my run flat tires with non run flat, and I prefer to always see the pressure of the tires.

as i understand , the "tire pressure loss warning " monitors the tire rotation:
when the tire deflates, it starts turning faster, which he system picks up

the "tire pressure monitor system" has sensors on the valves, so it's a completely different system

there are aftermarket solutions - see this link ( just as an example, no idea if this one is any good)
Amazon.com: Tymate Tire Pressure Monitoring System-Solar Charge, 5 Alarm Modes, Auto Backlight & Smart LCD Display, Auto Sleep Mode, with 4 External Tpms Sensor (0-87 PSI): Automotive Amazon.com: Tymate Tire Pressure Monitoring System-Solar Charge, 5 Alarm Modes, Auto Backlight & Smart LCD Display, Auto Sleep Mode, with 4 External Tpms Sensor (0-87 PSI): Automotive

I have inquired about this feature and have been told that it is not available in Canada...Maybe it is not available where you reside

to be totally honest, i'll not do it if it will not show up in the cluster like the other cars have.. I contacted several shops here in saudi and they were shocked that it's not there

The car is imported from canada, so this seems correct. Did you find any solution for this feature?

Confirmed that for some inexplicable reason, the full tire pressure presentation is not standard in Canada, except perhaps AMG versions? If I'm correct, it appears standard in the US for 2020 models.

I'd personally like to know what would be required to upgrade. Sensors, and perhaps additional coding?

I was planning to replace my tires with non run flat, but I don't know now I am little bit leaning toward keeping run flat tires

I 'll keep searching and asking around to see if it is possible. if it is too much work I'll not touch it

Besides sensors in tires, code to make the car understand that a new option has become available seems obvious. But I think it also needs something to pick up what the sensors are transmitting? I could see they would save that aswell if its not in the options to begin with.
