AFAIK a CD player cannot be added without major surgery. A CD player doesn't work when connected via a USB port.
I converted my entire CD collection to lossless flac. Then I copied my favs to an SD card for the car.
IIRC there is a COMAND limit of ~50k files per SD. There is an SD card slot in the center console to use for music.
Alternatively, one can put music on a memory stick and use any of the USB ports.

Completely agree. I converted all of my CDs to Apple lossless (MPEG-4) and loaded them on an SD. Select random and it's like listening to the radio but with better quality music, no commercials or DJs, and you only hear music you like. Perfect!
If wiring is preinstalled (code 320 on data card) need to cutout glove box to accommodate CDC. Not so easy if not. If steadfast on installing PM your email address too many instruction sheets to post.
