Steering Wheel Touch Pads Haptic Feedback

I just noticed recently on my 2019 E450 wagon that the touchpad on the LH side of the steering wheel (the one for the gauge cluster screen) has a "tap-like" haptic feedback when I swipe up/down or left/right. The RH side touchpad for the infotainment screen does not have this haptic feedback (otherwise seems to operate normally). I cannot remember if it ever did have the haptic feedback.
Can anyone confirm this please?
