I just started playing with this myself. I do not notice any issues and have noticed there are different settings for the Bluetooth audio that differ from the radio settings. If I recall there is an option for amplification on BT that i do not see on my general audio settings.

What I am trying to figure out is the fast forward an rewind controls. I click the wheel to get the controls of the song streaming and see the arrows I can highlight by pushing wheel left or right but it wont FF or rewind.

start wit deleting the bluetooth conenction from your phone (and car) & reconnecting .
often this solves a wide variety of problems.

then again; i had a problem where people could hardly hear me during calls (so nothing to do with music) and they replaced the comand to fix it
