Has anyone used Liqui-Molly products?
I am not due for an oil change yet (got two-year free maintenance from Mercedes), but I use Liqui-Molly 5w-40 along with Ceratec in my BMW (I don't have any issues with the product). Has anyone here used Liqui-Molly in their Mercedes?

I wouldn't even bother to check... If the car is under factory warranty, I would not use other than what the dealer or the manual states, most typically Mobil 1.

I've read posts (not here) when a engine failure was denied warranty coverage because the owner didn't use the recommended oil. IDK if that is a MB thing too or not.

One can use any brand of lubricants as long as they meet the technical specification for the given viscosity. Liqui Molly has several sub-types of 5W30 that meet the 229.51 specification. Note that different engines may require a different specification than the one I listed. Check you owner's manual.

The owner's manual for my '18 E300 (US) mentioned 3 specifications 229.5, 229.51 and 229.6. I have not compared the specs. They may be nearly the same.

Well, the one I use in my BMW is 229.5 approved. I brought the oil change kit a while ago before fighting Mercedes to give me some sort of incentives or something because of all the issues I was having with my E-class. After a week of going back and forth, MBUSA decided to give me 2 years of free maintenance. After that is over, I'll probably start changing the oil every 5 months or 6k miles. using LM 5w-40.To me, the whole service A and B is just a gimmick to make more money. From my understanding, service A is just an oil and filter change and a bunch of visual checkups on the car. Service B is brake fluid change, wipers, and again, a bunch of visual checkups.
