No media card in 2021 E-Class

Picked up my new 2021 E350 yesterday which replaces my 2018 E300 and was surprised that the new E no longer has a media card slot. Had all of my music on a 64gb SD card and will now either have to move it to my iPhone or get a USB-C thumb drive. Other than that minor setback, I love the new car.

That's not a big deal. I use a USB-A/USB-C adapter that holds a mSD card. I bought a bunch of them locally for a couple of bucks.

Bought a USB-C thumb drive. Just don't like the way it sticks out in the console. Afraid I may break it off by accident. No big deal, was just surprised.

That's a ouch. Some (like me) find an SD card easier to use than a thumb drive.

Sort of another "slap" at their customers. Accountants must be involved. Analog clock gone, supplemental sun visor removed, and the SD card slot eliminated. Not to mention the driver's-side passenger seat control. Is it really more cost efficient to engineer and manufacture them out? Was customer reaction even considered?
