Using USB Media Folder

Using USB Media Folder
Couldn't find anything, but I've got this question...
On 2018 E200 with Wide Screen.
I normally have a SD card with songs in it with many folders in it to differentiate the songs based on the genre.
So I would go into the folder and select the songs and play them.. which is fine.
But when I want to back out to the folder, the back button doesn't allow me to go all the way out.
So the only way to go to the other folders are to do the following.. Left click to Search and and on and on until I select the folder again.
Is there an easier way to do this? I've tried to save the Folder into Favorite star button and it doesn't allow me to do it either.

Interesting.
Ill be brining it into the service center next week Monday due to my rear center seat belt sticking and not retrieving properly. Haiz...
And I've also had in 2 occasion where my command system hung itself.. Only to work again after shutting the car completely down and restarting it.
They are going to update my command apparently.
Ill ask them if there is a solution to this.

Different but related question, picking up my 2020 E450 wagon this Friday, what format does the music need to be to work on the SD card/thumb drive for the car to be able to read it? Thanks.

Thank you! I have a 2019 BMW R1250RT bike and I have a thumb drive with just over 700 MB of MP3 music for listening while I ride. I have iTunes so I had to convert the desired music from MP4 to MP3 to play through the BMW system, it didn't recognize MP4 format so it appears I'm ready to go. Thanks for your help.

Sorry guys, I've spoken to a dealer and been advised unfortunately, that's just the way it is.
Must go to search -> type of media -> folder and songs...
Bit of a pain really.
