Radar Sensors Dirty

The weather here in the DC area is getting wonky. This winter it’s mostly sleet. However, when I’m driving my radar sensors go crazy saying “Radar Sensors Dirty”. I would normally just use a warm towel to melt the ice from the sensors to resolve that. I wanted to know if there was anything to spray over them to keep them free of ice. I read that WD-40 will keep them clear. Any advice?

.
I wouldn't use an oil on the sensors as it may get on the paint. Any hydrophobic coating such as Meguiars Ultimate Quik Wax spray should work. It is so slippery that I can't set the bottle on the hood because it slides off.

I used Ceramic coat and it is a bit better for water beading.
