question about the lenght of hybrid plug (lid)

can someone measure how far the plug/lid sticks out when charging?

i have an underground parking space that I'm thinking of turning into a closed garage.
But length is already limited and i'd like to know if i'd still be able to charge the car
(delivery is only end july)

judging from pics, the lid sticks out further than the plug, and looks like a good 10/15 cm ?

EDIT: I just measured the gas lid and it sticks out a whopping 28 cm's - so i guess it won't be less for the plug...?

EQE 500 4MATIC replacing EQC 4matic AMG line P
Hi have been off the forum for sometime but am back as my lease ends in the autumn and am looking for inspiration! What hybrid did you go for essence or gasoil? Am put off the hybrid by the lack of 4 matic and airmatic plus the step in the load floor is a bit of a pain for me (I prefer a break). On a first look the choice available is uninspiring albeit I really like the new bonnet line of the revised version and I am wondering about keeping mine but being a 220d will I get caught out on depreciation with the govs push to electric? Any thoughts gratefully received.

i'm going for the hybrid diesel E 300 2.0l - it's still cheaper than petrol to lease

on top, i'm taking the AMG-line instead of the avantgarde. it's a more expensive car, but again, cheaper in lease...

the cars is 81.200 eur and i'm paying 1.037 euro over 4 years/115.000km (insurance & tires not included)

This is 1st time i'm going directly through the dealer for the lease, as they had the best offer (the mercedes' lease co is called (mobyfleet/athlon)

what is nice with the hybrid is that i can drive pure electric for home/work, which is 500km per week!

the way the lease companies calculate is difficult to follow thought; A cheaper version doesn't necessarily mean a cheaper lease
you really want to go for the packs like premium plus, but try to stay away from "single options" as they drive up the lease price .

EQE 500 4MATIC replacing EQC 4matic AMG line P
Thanks for responding. Will bear your advice in mind. Am looking at the EQC arranging an extended test drive with my dealer, he has to bring one in from Le Mans. Did drive a hybrid gasoil a year or so back and was quite impressed, but living in the Normandie countryside 4 matic is pretty important as we get a lot of serious amounts of mud left on the roads and they are frequently narrow so you have to pull off onto the verges frequently which are by this time of year churned up mud traps. It is nice to know the car has 4 options of grip. This all started with my first red eclass here which was rwd only and we got caught out on more than one occasion 🙄. I do like my e more than my c class so I think the choice is going to be difficult. To be honest keeping it is attractive apart from the difficulty of disposing of it once something better comes along🤔

Hi!
We have the sedan 300e on order, expected in April. Can’t wait! In the meantime we have a 2021 estate 300de loaner, and this is how the plug and lid protrudes when charging:

In Sweden e 300de is available with 4matic...

However, I have ordered one without 4matic (price) since discussing with some taxi drivers having pre 2021 models with only rear drive saying that with the extra weight of a battery right on top of the rear axle makes the 4matic not necessary for driving in snow etc. Not sure about stability on motorway which probably is another story with or without 4matic

I have driven about 1800 km on snowy roads with the 300de wagon so far, and haven't felt the need for 4-matic. Even when provoked it is very stable so I wouldn't order the 4-matic option either.
Had a regular E220d before and there is a big difference.
