2017 E300 4-matic
Upgrading to 20 wheels
my car: 2017 E300 4matic luxury series with factory 18 wheels. Width 8, offset 43 bolt pattern 112
my desire: 20 multispoke wheel 203401700. Width 8, offset 43, bolt patter 112
When this car was first unveiled I found the wheels I wanted (see pic). Unfortunately the car I got did not have these wheels. Therefore, I always planned to upgrade to these wheels once I needed new tires.
Well, 3.5 years have passed and that time has come however Mbparts.com says they are not compatible with my model year (2017)🤬😵💫. Although not compatible with 2017 E300 4Matic, it is compatible with the 2018 and 2019 E300 4matic. I dont understand because the width, offset, and bolt pattern are the same! Plus, all of the 2017 wheels are listed as compatible with the 2018 and 2019?!?
Ive read through thousands of these forms and cannot figure out if I should go through with it.I read that you shouldnt put staggered wheels on a 4matic, but then why are they compatible with the 2018 and 2019 4Matic? My thought process is to buy four front wheels (so they are not staggered) to avoid potential performance issues with staggered wheels on 4matics?
What do you guys think?

You can ofcourse put staggered wheels on a 4matic - this is standard on E63 and there is no problem, just make sure the diameter of the complete tire is identical
it is very hard to see the actual rims on that picture, maybe you can post a link for buying them or the name?
MB can tell you alot of stuff wont work, Im sure they will say that the 20 original Audi A8 rims I have on mine will not be a match... yet they run perfectly.
if offset and all the other stuff you mention is the same... then they will fit. Just make sure that the tires also fit
Mine attached below - not a 4matic
winterwheels - 10 spoke parallel design Audi originals running 255/35-20
summerwheels - unknown brand running 245/35-20 and 275/30-20(staggered)
