Overhead Console Removal

Hi - I have a rattle and vibration coming from the overhead console. It isn't the sunglasses as the issue persists even when they are not there. Does anyone know how to remove it?

Thanks very much. This worked. It was very stiff, but in the end I got it out. I applied some felt along the edges and the rattle and vibrations are gone. Very happy now!

Hi All, I want to put a radar detector 12v feed from the roof center console of 17 W203 wagon. Any ideas on best place to take pwr / gnd from. Tried using the mirror lights power but ended up tripping some protection as the 0.4A seemed to be too much - unless I briefly shorted the connection.
Can probably just try some trial and error on wire size and volts.
Did this on my W205 ages ago, looks pretty similar.
Thx Greg

I have attached to the windscreen just next to the mirror and took the power from the passenger side fuse box.
A wire going through the A pillar.....

I might have some photos when I did it, but would have to look for them, so let me know whether you want them......
