Whats is the best price to pay for tire and wheel insurance for 3 years l, i was quoted $1900 for years zero deductible and the the insurance is from a different company than MB

We have the tire insurance on our CLS 450 with 20" Goodyear RFT and AMG style rims. The cost back on October 2018 was about $2,200 or so for a five year term. The MB coverage was about $3K! Also, the warranty on most of these RFT do not cover those incidenatl tire thread separations. I had three of them and to purchase three tires. So you would have to go and fight the trie manufacturer for the coverage. The dealer told me "good luck." But it did cover a punctured tire that i had incurred earlier and the warranty company provided a new tire. So I wonder if these tire warranty program are worth the investment or than to cover punctures and rim damages. Something to consider.
