Annoying Headliner Rattle Over Rough Road
I have a 2019 E53 sedan. The car has pretty much been perfect except for an annoying rattle when driving over rough roads. I don't mean really rough, just a road that's not new and smooth. The noise occurs mostly at fairly low speeds, like 20-45. mph. My wife sitting in the back seat tracked it down to the headliner over the right rear seat. When she held her hand on the headliner there the rattle stopped. Assuming that the headliner is the problem, what do you think can be done about it? Is it difficult to remove to see if there's anything loose under there? Has anyone experienced anything similar? Thanks for any advice you can give.

Tough one, though, Rich. Hopefully, the headliner is a dark color, as I find dealers to not be as careful as I would be in terms of marks and fingerprints on interior surfaces. I would def take it to dealer - very little DIY ability with a headliner. Keeping fingers crossed that it is an easy fix.
