Service records available in car?
As above, I’m looking at a 2016 W213 on Sunday.
Is there a way to query the onboard computer to get service records? Car has COMAND if that makes a difference.

If you are buying from a dealer, then they should produce those records. If you are buying from an individual, who did not service at Mercedes, then I would expect that person to produce all service records.

carfax.com is another resource to check for service records. I know that my MB dealer as well as many independent shops in my area submit service events to Carfax.

W222, W221, W218, W211
in newer MBs (2012s X218, 2014 W222) you can pick it up using star - if the car was serviced at dealership, the service record will be available with some basic telemetry (mileage, date, service type)
