Every time I start up my 2019 E450 wagon, a few minutes in I get the error message:
"Mercedes me connect Services Limited See Operator's Manual"
I cannot find anything in the manual that is helpful, and I called Mercedes Me help, they requested a pic, which I sent, and have not followed up after I have sent multiple e-mails.
Strangely, my Mercedes Me connect app works fine, I am just annoyed to see this error message every time I drive. Any ideas?

Yes, I have a tracker plugged in from my insurance company....could it be that simple? It has been there for 2 months now, one more month left. I cannot remember if the error message started at the same time I plugged it in...

Yes, it is that simple. Whenever anything is plugged in there, services go limited.
Remove it and the error will go away soon after.

Thanks, hopefully it will go away when I pull the tracker next month...I have to leave it in for the full 90 days to get a discount on insurance, which is fairly easy as we barely drive these days due to WFH! I guess at least this thread will serve as a record in case someone else has the same issue!

I get the same error message and only thing I have plugged in is IPhone for Apple Play. I cannot figure it out. Any advice other than sell the car?
Double check your diagnostics port. That's really the only reason this message would show.
I just had car in for some other issues and they had diagnostics plugged in and fixed my issue. Nothing else plugged into the port. What could be possibly plugged into it? The other issues had nothing to do with the error message,to be clear.
I have a Scan Guage II plugged into my port - the readout sits in the left windshield corner behind the state inspection sticker - gives me the charging voltage, water temp, air temp being drawn in... When I unplug it, the Mercedes Me message goes away in a day or so

I sent pic of the message to my SA. He gave me some blah blah answer and I wouldn’t accept it. He called back the next day and said the message was showing as our car was an executive model (which we knew) and they allegedly have a tracker somehow connected to the car in or near the diagnostic connector. He claims they forgot to remove it and they can take it out in less than 30 minutes. We will see. Sound like bs to you?
