Pano roof Q: open shade without auto vent?

Pano roof Q: open shade without auto vent?
Hoping I am just being stupid here...

I put a skiguard 830 roof box on my AT wagon today. Super slick fit and the box is from a different planet vs thule and all those, in terms of build quality.

I knew I would lose sunroof functionality but it's so dang tight to the roof, there isn't even enough room for the vent.

When you open the sunshade, the vent automatically opens. It seems like this has to be a setting you can turn off but I dug through all the menus and can't find it.

Does anyone know how to disable that, so you can open the shade without opening the vent?

this is not normal.
you first open the shade, and then you need to push the button again for vent or opening

yeah...not in my '21. When you open the shade, the vent opens. You can close it after but I can't open the shade without it happening...

Maybe mine has some kind of glitch.

according to the manual it shouldn't work like that.
maybe try a reset? - see page 85 of the (USA) manual

On my AT if I open the shade the roof is closed I have to push or pull the switch to open the roof or vent.
