New ride...2018 E300 4Matic Sport...
New to the forum, but not to MB...Actually, it's been a long time since I've had a MB...And I am very happy about being back! After being a loyal MB owner for 30 years -- having had an SL, an SEC, and an S, and having gotten into a groove for almost 20 years with E's and ML's...I went without a MB for about 7 years. Now, today, a divorce no longer in the rear-view mirror (no pun intended, LOL)...I'm back and better than ever!
I picked up a 2018 E300 4matic (Sport). I bought, which I haven't done in over 20 years, LOL, and I am thrilled. Black on black (my first choice), CPO, and yes, being paranoid, LOL, I bought the CPO/MB extended warranty. The car was pretty loaded and the only thing it didn't have was the panorama sun-roof, which I was OK with. I don't drive fast, so the engine/power is more than fine for me.
Just wanted to say hi to everyone, hear how everyone is doing...and get some insight and perspectives from some of the resident experts! Thank you very much everyone and I'm glad to be back!!!

Welcome. Sorry about your divorce but life moves on, I am glad you found something that you enjoy now so you can quickly forget about the sad things. Welcome back to MB. Happy to have you. Panoramic roof to me personally isn't a big deal and I wish I had a choice to not option it here in Canada on my C43 especially how you get less headroom if you have it and just another thing that can potentially fail. In Canada, our winters are long anyways so we don't want to open it often. The engine in the E300 is okay, gets the job done especially for those that don't need a lot of speed so it wasn't a bad choice of yours to choose it.
