2018 E300 4Matic Sport
So what have you done to your E-class?
As I mentioned, I just got a 2018 E300 4Matic Sport model. It's pretty loaded, but there's always a few nice things I enjoy getting, upgrading, etc. I am more of an aesthetics/interior guy than an engine/mechanical kind of guy, but I would love to hear what upgrades others have done.
I always "de-badge" my car. Other than that, I was thinking of getting those "studded" sport pedals. Any lighting upgrades (interior lights)? Anything aesthetic for the exterior? Interior? Just curious, what mechanical upgrades have you done?
Looking forward to hearing from others. Thanks in advance.

Actually I am 100% satisfied with my E450. No improvements necessary!

These are mod's ive seen people do here, nothing myself. I've seen pulling parts from the 43/53 and 63. The diamond grill, quad exhaust tips, wheels. Someone installed the LCD screen to replace the needle cluster. Burmester side speakers replace the upper door black mesh speaker. And of course a tune. I think it would be cool to pull the seats out of the 63. I wonder if anyone has installed the air suspension to replace a steel set up. With cars nowadays most mods are offered by the manufacturer. Why not hold out for a few year old 43/53, get a great deal with all the mods already done?

That's a cool idea! Is it possible? I've read about people changing some interior lights, but not specifically the cabin lights. Great idea though! So can it be done? Thanks.

I'd presume that all of the chatter you've read about modding interior lighting has to do with the ambient lighting system, and not the cabin lights.

2020 E450 Wagon
I have a white E450 wagon. Planning to black vinyl wrap all the chrome trim pieces to black vinyl so make it a true black and white styled car. As soon as I took delivery I had PPF done on the entire hood, front bumper, front fenders and the head lights. Living in Texas, I also did a 30% all-around ceramic tint to keep the interior cooler during our hot summers. I also purchased the OEM mirror caps for my car but in black to begin the black white theme.

That is sooooooooo cool!!! And it's even cooler you did the install yourself! Me, I open the door! LOL.
Side note -- your illuminated cabin lights (the blue light) -- they seem very bright and pronounced. Mine aren't like that. Is that an add-odd/option kind of thing? Thanks again!

velryba -- I looked around ebay and couldn't find these for my 2018 E300 4Matic Sport. Would you know a quality, reliable MB vendor where I could buy these?
Do I need certain features/options on my car in order to get these? Thanks again...and really great job on your car!!!

Cannot find the listing I bought it from any more, but it was similar to this, if not the same.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/154369883472
Mind you, this is ebay in UK.
I have also saw it somewhere as original MB, but for some silly money.

I bought them from ebay. For the price I did not really worried and it worked out great.

Meguiar's Cleaner Wax.
I then applied Meguiar's hybrid ceramic car wax: https://www.target.com/p/meguiars-24.../-/A-83824515?
Every 3 to 4 months I reapply the hybrid ceramic wax which takes less than 1 minute.
Car is like showroom new.
Total cost under $30. Total time 2 to 3 hours, then a few minutes every 3 to 4 months with the ceramic hybrid wax.
Just my $.02
