petrol engine reliability?? seeking for my dream w213 (option E400 wagon)
Hello all!
I am new here, because I have read very much information of my beloved E class. So first of all I recently found in my country selling 2017 E400 petrol wagon 3.5ltr 245kw about 120 000km . also I have friends who are mechanics of cars, repairing various vehicles, parts but mostly diesels. So they said this petrol engine is weak and it will cost very much for me for maintenance. I have found that engine can be M276 De35la.in this car. Many internet sources writes that the most problematic place is that chain wear quickly because of insufficient oil supply for them, also problems with timing chain tensioners, high pressure fuel pump, at 250 - 300 000km can supercharger stop do its job. So i have worry for buying this milleage car. Maybe you could share of your experience with these or other petrol engines, what repairs in what milleage you have done?
