Mercedes Me Connect

I’ve been getting Maintenance in progress Connect Service unavailable

any idea what’s going on or for how long?

Mercedes me connect is all up and running as far as I can tell. Just came back from a drive. The app is responding, reporting correct status information and the services such as live traffic were working in the car. I've noticed your car is a 2018, so yours wouldn't be using Mercedes me connect. Yours would still be on the old mBrace platform. Different app and backend.

I’m using the Mercedes Me app. What I wrote is what comes up on the 1st page of the app. Everything seems to be okay in my car and on the app. Only thing I couldn’t do was “Find My Car”

Yeah, just pointing out that there are different apps and backends. The Mercedes Me app is the old app. The new app for 2019+ models is called Mercedes me connect and looks like this. There's no maintenance message coming up, so they must be doing some maintenance on the old platform.

2018 Mercedes me no longer has internet functions such as live traffic, traffic cams, browser, etc. Those services were unilaterally canceled by MB. I understand not renewing an expired live traffic subscription, but I paid for the other services that were not subscription based. Eliminating all internet service is unacceptable. That is why I'm not buying another Mercedes. I've been buying them since the 1960's (at least 2 or 3 every decade)..

I still had live traffic today. In fact I can’t find anything that doesn’t work. I think my live traffic ends in January, I agree that’s a ripoff. I’ll use Apple Car Play and Google maps. Almost looks the same

I wonder if its a problem with your Hermes computer module.
i'm due to get my e coupe within the next 2 weeks but without the Hermes module to be installed next year with semiconductor chips are available.
In the list of things that won't work is the Mercedes me app connection.

It was actually maintenance they were preforming. Next up MB Finace
