My 2019 E450 wagon turned 3 years old Nov 1 and the mobile app stopped working?

My 2019 E450 wagon turned 3 years old Nov 1 and the mobile app stopped working?
I coulda sworn the mobile app such as unlock doors and remote start etc was good for 5 years, now they say 3 years, maybe MB went and changed it. I was right in the middle of a 2021 map automatic update and it stopped and is stuck with at 98 percent complete. Called MB and they say they have not priced the new app features as they are gonna do them individually and will not do so until Dec. They say that my account will be reviewed and they will probably extended it until Dec when the feature prices become available. When they extend it my map update should continue to load and will then be complete. I dunno what I'll do Dec I guess it depends on the pricing but us suspect it will be anywhere from 200 to 300 dollars per year. Anyone else encounter this sort of thing recently and was anyone else under the impression it was 5 years. I know my 2018 S class with the Mbrace remote features is 5 years, maybe I was just confusing this with that.

I guess the thing that really surprised me was the MB rep said the services were not priced yet until Dec 30th. Strange. He said my services will probably not work for quite sometime as they only submit requests on Weds he said. Things are kinda strange these days. He said when approved they will keep the services going until Dec 30th once the request is processed.

Do you have Mercedes me or Mercedes me Connect? My '18 vehicle has the former and the vehicle functions such a locking still work. Internet functions such as traffic alerts and browser expired after 3 years and do not work. Per MBUSA there is no renewal. Those features are gone forever.

Yes I have two apps on my phone, the connect for the 2019 e450 and the Me for the 2018 S560. Right now I guess it'll be no app for the 2019 e450 until Mercedes is nice enough to unlock it for me according to the guy on the phone when I called the other day. I also tried going to the portal and signed and still didnt get anywhere. It's too bad because the app has worked so well for me the past 3 years.

I posted about the same issue a month or so ago with my 2019 E450 wagon and Mercedes Me Connect. I called MB customer service and they reactivated my Mercedes Me Connect for free until the app is available for purchase. Took a couple of days for the reactivation to kick in but everything works again.
