I just noticed a small ding in my 2019 E450 Wagon. It is small, like poked with the end of pinky fingernail size. I know that I can buy a kit to fix it myself, but I have a bad habit of making things worse when I don’t know what I’m doing. Is this something that the dealer can do or should I take it to a place that advertises ding repair? Other suggestions?
I always park far away from other cars so this annoys me. The car is black, so it really shows. Thanks!

most dealers don't do body work. There are several guys in my area who come to your house and do Paintless dent repair for reasonable amounts ($100-200). Don't know where you're located, but if you're in an urban area you probably can find someone using a search engine. Your dealer might help with recommendations or you can ask around. A local body shop recommended a guy to me after saying I really didn't need to pay for their services.
Had a similar ding on my E450 Cab. My local body shop had it fixed by a dentless repair company. The whole thing cost less than $150 and it came out PERFECT. Work with someone you trust and you shouldn't have a problem.
Definitely visit the best-reviewed dent removal place in your area. Some years back we sustained 32 significant dents from a hail storm on one of our cars. They were gone without a trace after a day in the shop.
