19inch wheels RFTs softer ride!
I posted this as a gremlin earlier that the ride was very stiff, harsh, and road noise was huge with 19 inch twin spoke, and RFTs. However, elsewhere in this forum I read someone stating to inflate 33 front and 39 rear. While I didn't believe, because more air pressure, more hard/stiffer the ride is - however, I tried it. I can now say that my ride is softer than before (not like the 17 inch luxury with Non RFTs - ive tried that too, or the 18 with Non-RFTs). Definitely there is something with the way suspension is tuned or shocks are performing when the tire pressure is close to max suggested...
there was also a lot of debate about merc giving different views on psi's - (a) fuel cap suggestions, and (b) door panel suggestions. yes it is confusing and they cannot do that. however, here is the deal -
lowest will be based on the fuel cap typically 32 all around - fuel cap
more weight in the cabin = 33 and 39 - fuel cap reading
speed + performance (over 100mph) = 33 and 39 + 4 each all around - fuel cap
max load = 37 and 43 - door panel
this is just based on my research...
Stock Goodyears are OK for RFTs.... replacements can be Michelins or Continentals

Did you fill your tires when they are cold (sat for many hours at least) or they were driven for more than a few minutes?

2018 S560 and 2019 E450 Wagon.
I agree. I run 33 in the fronts and 38 in the rears. My ride is fine with Conti GX Run Flats. So far 20K miles on tires. I'd say the rears can go another 6K miles and the fronts another 20K miles. I make use of the power of the 463 hp motor and the rears always wear out way before the fronts the car being RWD. This on my S class. On my E class wagon which is awd I have 18K miles on the michelin Primacy 3 tires and run 33 in the front and 36 in the rear. With the awd the tires are wearing more evenly from the front to back and estimate the tires can go another 10K miles or so, so a total of 28K miles out of them. The car will never ride good over very bumpy surfaces due to a design issue with the front suspension, it bottoms out way too easily.
