So my delve into trying to make sure I had my bases covered for the 50k mile service, trying to decide if I should go with the 2 or 3 plan prepaid service, has me now wondering if I should even keep this car!

Looks like the M274 issues are popping up across the lineup- so certainly not just an "E" issue. I have my share of rattles, but I really enjoy the styling of the car, so I've overlooked that, and air suspension worries, etc. Luckily (I suppose) I bought this 1/2020 as CPO, and elected for the extended CPO coverage, so I have some time to sort things out, and decide what I want to do.

In looking at the TSBs that you all have posted, I am trying to hear the M274 LS engine noise.mp3, but I cannot find the audio file itself, just the file name. Does someone have the audio they could attach?

Actually, the car has been noisy for sometime, more so when its cold. Rather than bring the issue to the dealership, I'd rather hear a normal example first, so that I don't have them chasing down something that is normal. This is my third Direct Injection car; they have all been noisy, but they all sound a little different. I don't drive very much, and if this IS an issue I'd like to get it worked sooner rather than later, so a few years from now I'm not holding a 19k bill, as others are.
