Should I lease a 2022 E53 or pay $160k for a used 2021 E63S?
I was all set to order a C63s Sedan in early 2019. I came across a 2018 E43 in the same color combo I wanted for the C, and all the options I would have gotten plus more. They were discounting it about $17k IIRC which made the cost about equal to the C, so I got he E43 instead.
While is is really a nice car - if I had a dime for every time Ive thought I should have gotten the V8...I'd have a lot of dimes. A.lot.of.dimes....Plus I just dont need a car this large, we dont have any kids.
Good for you! I wish I had a V8
I am looking forward to hearing your experience with the test drive, try to do a longer test drive and don't rush it to really see if you need or want the V8.
Good luck with your selection!
Not at all the same as a 'conventional' hybrid with two, IMO redundant, powertrains.

Thanks for your comment though I am sure your information helps others who might not be aware, which is a great thing : )
The mild hybrid's motor by itself on the facelift E 450 can't propel the vehicle so such benefit doesn't exist in stop and go traffic if the internal combustion engine is stopped and then started (the emissions reduction part), smoother start is still a benefit though.
