USB-C ports always on?

USB-C ports always on?
The cigarette plugs both switch off almost immediately, but it seems the USB ports stay on.?
strangely enough In the manual it says that for the REAR ports the car needs to be on in order to charge. (no special mention for the front)
The reason I'm asking is because i want to hook up a powerbank that will feed my hotspot

well figured it out: rear is switched but front is (strangely) always on.
so will run a cable from the back into the front storage.

Why do you need a power bank if the USB is always hot?
How much does your hotspot and the devices connected consume power? Are you not concerned about the battery running flat?

Well that's just it, I don't want the hotspot to drain the battery
i don't really know how much it consumes, but it seems quite a bit when my 2 cloud cameras are connected permanently by wifi
So with a powerbank + the hotspot's internal battery I'd have quite a bit of power
(my 2 cameras are hooked up on 2 cellink batteries that are piggy backed on the cigarette fuses)

I think I got the above this time. Thought you're powerbank was somewhere in the rear and you were feeding the cable to the front (plug) but you actually meant you plug to the rear and feed your devices at the front.
