Full Service Not Carried Out issue with Resetting Service Indicator E300 2017
Took my car to complete my Service A two days ago with my Mercedes mechanic (have been going to him for years), and this time there was an issue with resetting the service indicator notification.
Went to Assyst Plus, confirmed full service, oil grade, and then it would clear it, but Service B past due 18000 miles shows up. He usually does this with no issues and has been doing it for many years. Can’t clear this one, it keeps saying Full Service Not Carried Out. No idea if anyone else has experienced this issue here and was able to resolve this. I read that this is a known issue for most. For some reason the machine reader hooked up couldn’t even reset this.
Called the Dealership but their solution was to bring it in and they’ll do the entire service again. Not what I’m looking to do obviously. I’ve heard that it may go away after driving it for a few miles, or to go back and try this again after driving a few miles (how many?), or if there are any other tips please let me know!

Yes it happens, usually driving for 50 miles or so and then reset would work if not you might need to try tinkering with it in Xentry.

Thanks for this!
Problem is, it didn't even work with Xentry. It just reset it back to Service A due in 24 days. Which then gives me the option to reset Service A, pick the oil grade, and Full Service is completed. But always reverts back to Service B, past due.
I'm going to try driving for a few days up to 50 miles to see if that fixes it.
