Hello, Is there anyone who had issue with trunk?

my issue is, my trunk doesnt open all the way.

When I unlock the trunk, it supposed to open all the way up, but it just opened and not going up. I have to put the trunk all the way up with hand. And when I press the button, it closed by itself.

So I assume the motor is fine, there gotta be something I am missing…

i checked spring, and attached in the right place, seems like the motor is holding the opening motion, tried to disconnect and connect the battery… still no luck…

new trunk motor is 420 dollars,,,, is it really the trunk motor needs to be replaced???

 

This topic has been discussed before. IIRC, there is a setting somewhere that allows you to adjust the opening. Look through your owner's manual. Or do a search here.
