Can I swap steerling wheels
I have a 2016 W213 E220 with the first attached wheel, I want to swap it for the 2nd attached picture, is this a hard job, do I just need to disconnect the battery?

As far as I know they are not a direct swap. A module is needed to adapt the signals. There are some companies that offer retrofits. Also, the cruise control buttons on the new steering wheel won't be functional as the older cars have a stalk for that. I believe this is part of why it isn't a direct swap. So you'll have those dead buttons taking up quite a bit of real estate on the steering wheel serving no purpose.

do these for people on a weekly basis.
you need a module to be attached to the existing electronics to allow the older car to accept the new buttons. you will lose cruise control on the wheel itself which isnt a big deal, will work off the stalk.
