noise while cruising

Hi guys. I just purchased an e300 2017 and when i’m cruising on the freeway around 70-80, there is like an electric sound coming when i gas it under 2k RPMs. Is that noise normal?

Initially no - but try to capture the sound. Its a difficult question to answer if we can’t hear what you mean.

i dont know if the mic will pick up the sound. It happens most of the time it sounds like an electric motor in a hybrid car.

Hey man i managed to get a video of it. You can hear it in the background. It would be great if you can let me know if its normal or not. I also noticed it starts exactly at 65 mph and until 75 mph. Thanks

Sounds like it’s coming from the tyres.

I doubt it because it only happens from 65-75mph not more not less, and it doesnt make that sound when going downhill.
