One design cue that stands out in this picture is the crease lines on the hood, the line on the side of the hood runs down the hood and takes a turn onto the top of the headlights. I am not sure if I like this look nor have I ever seen this design cue on another car before.

sloping down crease on the rear door and again on the front door, and again on the front fender.... Interesting that its not one continuous line. But noteworthy is the pop out door handles like the S class, which the C class didn't get.

^ I think we will find that those creases are disguised body panels. If you look at spy photos of the SL, they faked a couple of side creases that are not on the production cars:

I'll bet the hood does not end up being flat like that on the new E, either. Lots of camo on that car still.
