Use Siri to start climate control

Dear everyone,

I'm a new owner of a Mercedes E300 e (W213). I love it

I have found that the climate control has been very useful, I always start it inMercedes Me app sometime before I drive the car.
However, it will so convenient if I can use Siri to start it instead of using the App.

Anyone has any clue of using Siri or other voice control way to start climate control?

Thanks.

Not possible at the moment. The app doesn't support Siri shortcuts and direct automation.

I'm able to use Siri to remote start my E300 but I do not have remote climate control options because my car is a 2017. Once the car is running, it will cool/heat the interior depending on what is needed. I can even do it from my Apple Watch!

The option to turn on Siri shortcuts is in the MercedesMe app under "App Settings."

I'm curious how. I think mBrace has certain home automation integration, which is so far not available on later models with Mercedes me connect. There's an Alexa skill, though, but have to open the Alexa app, and then you can say things like "Alexa, ask Mercedes to start my car", or of course if you have an Alexa device then you can do it from your couch. The skill has very bad reviews, but this thread made me try it and it seems to work with my 2019 C63S. Can't use Siri, though, other than asking Siri to open the Alexa app.

I have a 2019 with Mercedes me and I have no remote climate control on my app. Did not know the mbrace had that capability.

There's one other possible option to do this. I had forgotten about it, because I couldn't get it to work, but if you run Homebridge, then there's a plugin for Mercedes me. Once setup, you can control the car from the iOS Home app and Siri just like your other smart home devices. However, as said, I can't get it to work. Despite following all the steps and successfully getting an authentication token, it gets access denied when trying to fetch the vehicle status etc, but I have Homebridge fully working otherwise to control my Ring, Nest and myQ systems from the Home app and Siri. Such is life with open source projects.
