I started with the passenger side. For the brake pad sensor, there is a clip right on top of it (circled in red). Lift with a flathead and then pull the blue clip out. You can re-use the old sensor if you want. Just take it out carefully.
There is a torx male holding the piece that the sensor was connected to and it’s right behind. After removing those, find something thin and use that to either push or hammer out the pins from the back (yellow). Before removing those, there is a clip holding them in place (remember how it goes in or take a pic!). Then the big metal plate in the middle will fall out.
Use the brake pad spreader to push pistons back.
Put new shims on and there are clips on the bottom of brake pads as well. Grease it wherever there is metal/metal contact and put everything back in opposite order.
