i have a 2017 300e. For me, the pluses are the steering/handling, the comfort, fit and finish, the engine (32-35 highway mpg, pretty good for a large car and I find the engine pretty peppy with good acceleration. Not everyone agrees). Negatives are rear seat legroom, the Mercedes navigation system (but your newer car may have a different system), the overly complicated controls . I use Apple CarPlay instead of the Mercedes navigation and find it far better. If you use an iPhone, you can buy a wireless dongle in place of having to plug your phone in every time. Overall I've been pretty happy.
