For a months now while driving or slowing down my parking sensors go off and the the below message come up.. then the parking assist button goes red and the parking sensors don’t work until I restart the car. Does anyone know what might be causing this? Want to know before taken it to the dealer.

Outside of it being a dirty sensor, this can’t be determined without scanning for codes.
