Power / Charge on the dash

Power / Charge on the dash
I noticed that whenever I de-accelerate, the green Charge indicator kicks in but i have never seen any activity on the Power indicator. Is that normal, is that perhaps that the Hybrid aspect isn't working?

You should see the blue power side at times as well. I also have a E450 AT and see the hybrid system applying power as well as the system charging. It does help with mild acceleration or to maintain speed on climbs without having to dip into the throttle or turbo boost.
