Buying out lease on 2020 E350...before I do any known problems?

Buying out lease on 2020 E350 next month...

Before I do any known problems?

Only 28,000 miles on it and no known issues to me but, be great to get the collective knowledge of the members; anything special to look out for or have checked out under warrantee before I buy it?

Tx, Steve

Steve:

I just bought my car at the end of the lease. I only did so because:
  • The price was right; and
  • The car was trouble fee
If either of the above was not as above, I would not have bought out the car.

I assume that the same is true for you.

After three years you should know your car. No one will have better knowledge of your car or what to expect than you as the owner.

Hope this helps

JTK,

Tx for your reply and I agree with your comments but, what I was/am looking for is:

Has anyone had issues they can share so I can have any potential issues looked at and fixed while the car is still under warrantee.

Possible but, not limited to possible examples:
Engine/transmission mounts
Other?

Tx if anyone has inputs

Steve

Do you not still have over a year on the factory warranty: 4 years or 50,000 miles whichever comes first?

If so you have plenty of time to have any issues corrected.

Or, if you plan to keep it a longer time, look into the MB ELW (Extended Limited Warranty). I purchased ELW when my car was new, and was able to more than recover my investment in warranty repairs that I might have otherwise just left un-repaired. (I had things like a creaking anti-sway bar replaced, but could have just left it alone. It worked, just made a noise I didn't like.)
